Rehabilitation is never easy, but there is a high probability you will look back on your time with us with appreciation for what you have accomplished. We are always capable of more than we realize, given the right conditions!
Jay loves challenging puzzles and meaningful connections with others. He left home and school at a young age and went to university well into adulthood where he studied music, neurobiological psychology, arts, sciences, and eventually occupational therapy (and felt like a kid in a candy store!) Beginning as a young adult he worked for 13 years with youth and families at risk. He has also worked as a musician and taught music. Through these and other experiences he realized a passion for connecting with and collaborating with people to create solutions to functional barriers. Occupational therapy brings it all together. It has been a winding road to finding this career that he loves, and Jay can’t imagine doing anything else.
